This biography is about Samuel Clemens,
better known as Mark Twain. He was an American writer. He was born in
1835 in a small village called Hannibal in Missouri. Mark had many jobs.
For one year he worked as a printer's apprentice. Then he was a pilot
for the steamboats on the Mississippi river. On the boat there was a man
throwing a rope had some marks to know the depth of the water. At
some places this was shouted "Mark twain" many times and he took his pen
name from that shout. From 1861 to 1865 there was a civil war in the
North America. Mark Twain fought for the Confederate Army. After that,
he worket as a gold-miner and a journalist. In 1870. he married and they
lived in Connecticut until he diet in 1910. Mark Twain wrote many
stories. Some of them are: "The adventures of Tom Sawer","The adventures
of Huckleberry Finn",The Prince and the Pauper"...
